Champagne André Robert

    VILLAGE: Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Grand Cru

    DISTRICT: Côte des Blancs

STATUS:  Family Domaine / Single Estate (RM)

This Le Mesnil-based C tes des Blancs family domaine is undergoing an energetic transition led by Claire Robert who has taken over direction and has now persuaded her husband Jean-Baptiste to join her (and stop commuting to Paris!) as her father Bertrand has retired.  Some 14ha are owned, much spread as far apart as the Marne, Vertus,  Etréchy, and the Vitrayat.  But the heart of the domaine is the 6.5ha in grand cru Le Mesnil itself. Viticulture is as sustainable and  green as possible, with ploughing, and there is now coveted HVE certification. Winemaking combines stainless steel and impeccably managed barriques and a consistently blocked malolactic for all cuvées. rfpipgisgiosgpisf]sfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsf

      Champagne Lacourte-Godbillon

Our fond and long-held partnership.  We were the first to discover, advise them and import Geraldine and Richard’s wines into the UK from before 2014.  They are now exported worldwide.  Geraldine Lacourte and Richard Devignes took the bold step with a young family some years ago, to leave their local coop and become a proper […]

      Champagne Minière F&R

Miniere’s barrel-fermented champagnes are increasingly in connoisseur’s sights.  Brothers Frédéric and Rodolphe Minière (hence F & R) only began to sell their champagnes in 2014 and made their own wine from only 3ha of their 8ha estate in Hermonville, north of Reims. The rest of the grapes were sold off but they are expanding each […]
