Champagne Lacourte-Godbillon

Our fond and long-held partnership.  We were the first to discover, advise them and import Geraldine and Richard’s wines into the UK from before 2014.  They are now exported worldwide.  Geraldine Lacourte and Richard Devignes took the bold step with a young family some years ago, to leave their local coop and become a proper independent grower champagne (RM). They have 8.3ha in the western Montagne de Reims.  They have quickly gained recognition, exporting to the USA, Australia, Italy, Germany and the UK, and won various awards, including reaching the final of the London Wine Fair Winestars competition for new importers in 2012.  Recently they have been awarded HVE status, a certification for sustainable and near organic vineyard and winery work.  A member of the Les Mains du Terroir grouping.  They are now certified organic and on the way to biodynamic confirmation too.
